TO SOMETHING MORE AWESOME.
Really, I love Emma, but this name is just too long. Although it's a toss-up over who's more well-known: her, Penny, Alex, or Lendri. To be honest? I think it might actually be Penny now...

ANYWAY...

So I have something I stole from :iconddaysrevenge: because she faved a work of mine and just happens to be lovely like that. :D

So, here goes--and, of course, it's going to be about the good doctor... I can't help it, sorry. Been scripting lately. Might do one for Michael-fishy at some point. <3

/////

Rules:
1).Pick one of your FCs/OCs
2).Fill in the questions/statements as if you were your FC/OC
3).Tag 3 people at the end of the quiz

OC: Dr. Dreadful

1. What is your name?
Penelope F. Dreadful, at your service, but you can call me "Penny" or just "Doc." Either one will do. I also respond to "MEDIC!" in dire circumstances. [chuckles]

2. Any unique traits and powers you have?
Well, I'm told I'm a walking encyclopedia sometimes, but to be honest I think that's a bit overstated! I will admit I have quite the intellect, but I just usually let claims of "genius" flatter me and leave it at that.

Although, if we're on the subject of "powers," well... Let's just say I've got a little "magic medicine" on my side. Sure, it's got some side effects, but it certainly saves lives. Better late than never in the medical profession, eh?

3. Are you engaged, have any lovers?
Er, no... No, sadly... No... [mopes]

4. What are your goals?
I prefer to think of them as "ambitions." If I tried to define my life's dream--confine it into a single "goal," I don't think I could do it. I'd never achieve anything that way! I've got to break it down into smaller goals, or else I'd lose my mind.

... Well, you know what I mean. Point is, I learned a long time ago not to get too ahead of myself.

5. Any Hobbies?
Aside from my work? Are you joking? Work IS my hobby. I mean, maybe I'll do a silly experiment here or there, but I derive no pleasure from being lazy. I'd rather be in the ER, or the classroom, or the Lab than lounging at home. However, I suppose you could count LaCrosse as a hobby, couldn't you? I'm a forward for the Miskatonic Honey Badgers--the ladies' division, you know. And then, I do travel a lot... Play the piano in my spare time, too, now that I think about it.

6. Any friends?
I've been blessed with many more than I had ever expected, actually. Form colleagues to professors to students... But when I think about those that I truly love--those most dear to my heart--I can't help but smile and sob equally. I've lost about as many as I've got, and I'll never forget any of them. I spend most of my time now-a-days around dear Dr. Alra Kahji, my good friend Thomas Cain, Mum and Papa, the ever-interesting Connor McRoy and Mr. Martin Hill (whenever I'm in New York, anyway), sweet Dr. Albert McGuire, Angel--my dog, the kids--Jerome and Susie Pages, the lovely Pam Pages, and of course my darling Michael.

7. Do YOU like waffles!?!
I suppose so, but I'm not nearly as enthusiastic as you are about them.

8. Any particular foes and/or enemies?
Ohhhh HAHAHAHAHA... You have no idea... Suffice to say, though, that most of those I considered enemies at any point are gone for good, and the others I simply can't touch. I'd rather leave it that way, too. I manage as best I can.

9. What is your favorite place to be?
There's no place like home, or so they say. After all, it's where the heart is, is it not? Home sweet home will always be--and always has been--where I leave my heart when I have to be gone. Truly, I am a citizen of the world, but Arkham... Ah, Arkham. Never would I rather be anywhere else. This town is my life.

10. What is your least favorite place to be?
Ugh... I could name a few... Antarctica springs to mind immediately...

11. How old are you?
45, as of the twenty-third last month. I'm not necessarily all that excited about it, either. It feels the same as 44, and 43, and 42... It just weighs on the mind heavier, I suppose.

12. Any bad habits you may have?
Ahhhh, yes. Ah-ha. Bad habits? Some die hard, and some teach us lessons... Unfortunately, mind generally encompasses an even mix of both which makes them extraordinarily aggravating. If we're being candid here, I'll go ahead and admit the, er, worst of them... If I can. For one, I'm not very good with relationships. I don't really know how to be social and such. And second, I suppose I have something of a temper. Thirdly, um... thirdly, I... have learned a couple of hard lessons in my life. One being about arrogance and the other about addiction.

13. If you had a billion dollars, what would you do?
Bah! Give it away! I know plenty of people who need it more than I do. I have no desire for wealth whatsoever. Yech. In fact, you could say I have an aversion to it. Blame it on growing up in a rich, well-to-do, snobby family, or what-have-you, it doesn't change things. The only little bit I might spend on myself would just be covering tiny living expenses. I live quite comfortably enough right now, as it is. I've got tenure and everything. Go make someone else's dreams come true, please.

14. Eye color?
Uh, I don't know. I've never really thought about it. Now that I look at them, I can't decide, either! I suppose they're something of a hazel-gray? Green? Brown-gray? That's hazel, yes? [sigh]

15. What are you wearing?
Er, the same thing I always do, I suppose. It's late, so I'm in some relaxing clothes. Purple scrubs and a pair of thin cotton socks. Just being comfortable.

16. What religion are you?
A Franciscan humanist Roman Catholic, if that means anything to you. [chuckles] Maybe a little unorthodox, but astutely Catholic regardless.

17. What is you favorite food/drink?
Oh, dear! I'm not sure. I suppose you could call that another hobby of mine--I'm an "amateur gourmet," if you will. I simply adore fine food, and I quite enjoy to cook when there's time. If I have to pick one thing each, though, that are constant favorites, I'd have to say apples and coffee.

18. What animal do you think you're based off?
... What? Sorry, I'm a bit lost. Chimps, I guess? Evolution is kind of what we're all "based off" of. I guess I don't understand the question entirely.

19. Anyone you look up to?
Oh, plenty of people. The greats, like Milton, Hippocrates, etc. I could make a list, but there's not a point. Mostly, I look up to other doctors, some writers, and a handful of philosophers from history. Out of people in my life? Probably Alra and Michael, Officer Cox... and well, a couple others that are... no longer with us.

20. Gay, straight, or bisexual?
... Straight. (I think...)

21. Got any fan girls/fan boys?
Fans? Oh, sure, I guess I might. Somewhere out there.

22. What color is your hair?
Dusty brown with a touch of silver that I can't decide if I want to dye out or not.

23. If you could change the world, what would you change about it?
Oh, Christ. What a question to ask me, of all people. For God's sakes, I'm a DOCTOR. Not only that, but I'm a little infamous for my "far-fetched" dreams about "changing the world" the way I'd like to. I think that those two things in themselves say everything about me, don't they? And I've already done quite a lot, thank you very much! At least enough to prove my condemners and naysayers dead [ahem] wrong.

24. Did you by chance kill anyone!?
I DID NOT KILL HIM! I did NOT kill ANYONE! No death has EVER been a fault of mine--how DARE you! I did not kill him--I gave him LIFE!

25. Have you hurt anyone before, physically/emotionally?
Yes, and I am ashamed to say so. On both accounts. It's a long story that I won't trouble you with.

26. Any family members?
I consider those closest to me to be my family. Especially the Pages' kids--Jerome and Susie. I am their godmother, after all. But other than that, the only flesh-and-blood family I speak to anymore are my mother and father. I still make a point to see them frequently, and they call me often.

27. Where do you currently live?
308 College Avenue in Arkham, Massachusetts. Faculty housing, but it's mine and it's nice. A little two-story house with a picket fence and a  wrap-around porch. It's cozy.

28. Are you a virgin by chance?
[blushes like mad] Y-yes... And I'm fine with that. Really. I-I'm simply not inclined to talk about it with strangers.

29. Any fantasies you would like to share?
Sometimes, before I fall asleep, I like to pretend that he's still alive so that I'll dream of how things could have been...

30. Any disturbing thoughts?
Plenty. And you don't want to hear about any of them.

31. Congratulations, these are all the questions I could come up with at the moment, quiz is over!!
Alright, then. I'm off to bed. Maybe I'll get some rest tonight.

Mmm, I could see you with "Penny" for some reason it just fits.

P.S. I saw a little girl today that reminded me of you.
